Heidi Schoener

I am a product development engineer in the furniture industry by day, but an artist, designer and craftsperson at heart. My husband, myself and 4 crazy cats currently reside in Hudson, NC. I am originally from a small town in western Pennsylvania. My love for all things creative comes from my Mom who encouraged me to be creative from a young age. I have an Industrial Design degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and have been a student of the creative arts all of my life.
I enjoy experimenting with color, texture, techniques and mediums, so my artwork is continually evolving. I primarily work in acrylic, mixed media and collage, but I have been known to dabble in watercolors and oils from time to time. I also have a passion for various crafts and refurbishing projects. Doing all things creative brings me joy and I love sharing that joy with others.
