Susan is a watercolor painter from Conover, NC. Retirement allows her to focus on her artistic pursuits. Throughout her adult life she studied with local and nationally known watercolorists.
Her lifetime love for animals led to many paintings of her dogs, which branched out into accepting commissions for pet portraits. Also, she has been to Italy twice for plein air painting workshops, as well as participating in numerous such events in North Carolina
